Auction Loot

I did well at the Awesome Auction at Family Dollar this year. Since I wasn’t involved in the points tracking and administration this year, I was able to actually participate in the auction itself. I wasn’t highly placed overall for a variety of reasons, but I was in the top 30%. Anyway, rather than trying my luck at one large item worth more, I decided to try to get 2-3 smaller items. That was before I saw the prize list.
I had been talking to Miss Nibs about my need to acquire a Dremel type tool at some point, as it would be useful to have for the RC10′s, and lo! there was one on the prize list, near the end (it’s very risky to count on things toward the end.) Up front were 3 copies of "Last Night on Earth," a zombie board game. Needless to say, I yoinked that right up. I also tried my luck at a Belgian waffle maker and a cute little deep-fryer, both of which ended up going too high for me- I didn’t want to sacrifice my points and risk losing the Dremel later in the auction.
At the end, I got 2 good items I really wanted and used half of my points. I could have used them all and gotten one very good item I didn’t really want (a Playstation Portable). I’m very happy with my decision. 
So’s the guy who got the PSP.
2-6 players recommended. I’m thinking Lanids + Nibs + Hemiorange + Potatobiker, with a side of Wiizza… any takers?
